You really beat me at the whole Victorian thing. My attempts seem so feeble now... really.. amazing series.
I admire it. And really.. where did you get that clothing!?

:) Thank you.

I worked at it for 4 months straight (like, sleeping 6 hours a night and shooting every day). I got pretty good towards the end, but my first few attempts were not so impressive. They aren't even on here because they're too embarassing.

the clothes came from everywhere - eBay, op shops, my mother, my wardrobe. This shoot, the skirt is a regular long brown skirt safety pinned up, over a long black skirt, over about 12 other skirts (to fill it out - even on eBay a good crinoline is hard to find). The shirt is my mum's, the jacket was mine, the belt was mine (and tightened with the aid of a tin stuck in the back).

I couldn't afford anything authentic, or proper reenactment clothes, but I found a lot of clothes from the 80's were quite Victorian - stuff from the New Romantic movement.

As much as I love this, for some reason, your head appears to big for your body.
Maybe I need glasses.

But I do love it, and congratulate you on your wonderful costuming!

Miss you already, Michael.
